If You Live in Coral Gables

The City of Coral Gables, through its commissioners, mayor and vice mayor, appoint the people who decide whether those projects should be accepted or denied. There are many rounds of decisions, many meetings in the City Hall, and many important steps to approve a project, such as The Board of Architects and The Planning and Zone Commission, but ultimately who decides and approve those projects are the local polititians we vote for (commissioners, mayor and vice mayor)

Local politicians are very sensible to a small number of votes and can be influenced if the people from the city participate in the meetings, send e-mails and schedule meetings with them, showing that we oppose to the approval of construction projects that are may harm the manatees and/or are disproportionate for the city and bad for its people.

Reach Out to City Commissioners

Call 305-460-5304 or 305-460-5326 to schedule a meeting and speak about your concerns. It is the most important thing you can do.

They all have office hours and are ready to speak to residents.

A
n influx of emails received by commissioners has a major effect on their voting.

Comments on their social media platforms can help us raise awareness and avoid the approval of this project as it is.
